Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and music producer. Her mother was her primary caregiver in the USA, where she faced numerous racial slurs that caused her to feel as a non-person. Her greatest break came in her role as The Lady of The Lake as she appeared in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. She was awarded the Tony Award and received great reviews for her performance. In the following year, when she was Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC her role was given greater appreciation. Apart from having a cult following as a singer, she released a solo as well as an extended version. She's also an activist who works hard in the fight for LGBT rights.
