Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been an acclaimed American writer of cook books for a number of years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina started her career as a writer in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy documents. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she quickly began to lose the interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. It was a huge success for 18 years before she decided to let it go. After that, she started her first cookbook. Numerous different cookbooks and magazines came later. Another hit was the Food Network Television show. Her products range from appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina is not a student at any cookery school or employed in a restaurant, and has a complete self-taught. She is well-known for her unpretentious approach to entertainment and simple cooking. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
