Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actress best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. That same year, she made her debut album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise won her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her career across Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles as opposed to her perception of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned a name for herself as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series including Supernatural or The 100. Her birth date was August 28, 1965 in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the lead role.
